Turtlebrace

Serial casting using Turtlebrace

This type of cast is particularly effective in children who tip-toe walk, as it helps to provide a prolonged stretch to help return to a normal gait. It can also be used for other conditions such as metatarsus adductus, club foot, or muscle contractures.

This is an “apply and forget” type brace made of stratification of multi-perforated low-temperature thermoplastic and a microfiber fabric.
The great flexibility of the components stabilises the joint more easily and with more precision than a traditional brace or cast.
It can be reshaped many times just by popping it in the oven. This allows for periodic adjustment over time.

It also features a zip at the front for easy removal – no plaster saw needed!
