Stacey Coltheart

Stacey graduated from Western Sydney University with a Masters in Physiotherapy and has been working with children for many years. Stacey’s first employment after graduation was at the Children’s hospital at Westmead where she gained extensive experience in working with a wide range of children with different needs. She works with children of all ages from premature babies to adolescents with a wide range of conditions ranging from orthopaedic, rehabilitation, and neurological to cardiorespiratory physiotherapy, such as cystic fibrosis.

Stacey has worked in private practice settings including sports physiotherapy rehabilitation. She has treated a wide range of conditions to facilitate return to sport in children and adolescents. She also has experience in treating a range of conditions including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Down’s Syndrome, hypermobility, vision and hearing impairment and many others.

Stacey has a passion for helping children of all ages and abilities. As a mother of 2 children she understands how important it is for a child to feel comfortable in their surroundings which can optimise physiotherapy outcomes. This is why she offers in-home physiotherapy where appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Medical and Health Science (Distinction)
  • Masters of Physiotherapy (Distinction)
  • Member of Australian Physiotherapy Association
  • HINE (Hammersmith Infant Neurological Examination) trained
  • Certificate III in Fitness (Group Exercise)
